We have successfully implemented “self-learning” vibration sensor systems and heat sensors in biogas-mixers such as other similar industrial applications.
The vibration and heat sensors are used to detect measurement values. They can preferable be used in ATEX zones as in the WWTP, biogas, chemical, pharmaceutical and mining industries.
Function
Worn-out bearings need to be detected as early as possible since they cause high temperatures exceeding the acceptable range. Due to unbalance or misalignment, machine vibration can quickly exceed a permissible level. Result: high risk for accidents, un-planned stops in the production and extra costs.
Sensors receive vibrations and transmit them via a splitter box (within the ATEX zone) and an intrinsically safe isolated barrier (outside the ATEX zone).
These evaluation electronics monitor, analyze and document the incoming measured values.
The sensors can easily be connected and monitored via a master PLC and APP:s for total control of the plants machinery.
Examples of machinery were this kind of sensors can be a great help to prevent breakdowns;
- Mixers
- Pumps
- Fan's
- Blowers
- Electric motors
- Gearboxes
- Industrial machines with rotating parts
