Future Engineering has developed “excellence” in mixing technology which ensures a more efficient and cost-effective blending process, contributing to your company´s profit.
Too often, industry consumes too much energy unnecessarily in blending processes - either due to inferior agitator / mixer design or by utilizing improperly dimensioned agitators / mixers for the application.
Future Engineering offers not only one of the most energy efficient impeller design available, Super-Max-Flow-Propeller™, but provides the technical expertise necessary to its customers for dimensioning each mixer properly for the specific application.
Our Super-Max-Flow-Propeller™ can be used in all our range of mixers like top, side or bottom entering mixers.
In special applications several propellers and/ or turbines can be mounted on the same mixer in combination with anchor-mixers and dissolvers.
In addition we can also offer straight angled propellers or a various number of turbines (HD-turbine / Rushton-turbine) when a higher degree of shear rate is desired.
We are designing agitators / mixers for volumes 0,1 m³ - 50 000 m³.
Preventing of Swim-layer (WWTP & Biogas digesters)
Often agricultural and industrial (and sometimes WWTP) substrate such as manure, grass, corn ensilages and sugar beets et cetera. mixed with other organic waste tend to float on top of the substrate in the digester, preventing proper mixing and optimal gas production.
Future Engineering has a solution to prevent this problem: we installing an upper propeller equipped with ”SHARK-FIN´s” continuously cutting/ sweeping through the surface of the liquid preventing building up a floating layer of dry solid.
The “SHARK-FIN´s” have a determined angle in order to gather the substrate closer to the mixer shaft were a “axial pumping sludge SCREW” (aka SNAIL) is mounted, helping to push the liquid and substrate down “through” the upper propeller (propellers might need this help though a propeller only push liquid and are not able to “suck” liquid as a pump may do).
The visualization above is a general flow pattern in digester tank stirred by a top entry mixer with Super-Max-Flow Propellers™, were the upper propeller is equipped with SHARK FIN´s combined with a big axial pumping sludge SCREW (aka SNAIL).
Please note: the bubbles are only used to illustrate the circulair flow and nothing else
