By using a double membrane roof as a combined solution of roof and gasholder gives a
cost-effective and reliable solution which can be mounted either on an existing or new tank in steel or concrete.
Double membrane roofs can be designed for a wide range of working gas pressures and have an approved record in Industrial as well as in the agriculture BGP sector.
How it works: Gas will be produced mainly in propeller stirred tanks filled with bio substrate. In the fermentation process gas will be produced and collected in the inner membrane.
And in order to keep a constant pressure an air blower and a pressure regulation valve are used.
The outer membrane act like a “roof”, protecting from wind, rain and snow while the brace system together with a center pole prevents the inner membrane from falling down and being damaged by the mixer (at low biogas levels).
Additional the double membrane roof gas holder is equipped with an inspection window, over and under pressure valves in order to not be damaged of wrong operation pressure.
The double membrane roofs can preferable be combined with our side entering mixers and give you fast ROI.
